2011 is a video about memory and the relationship one can have to remembering. When revisiting a memory or trauma it is often attached to the place where it happened, where the imagination then can walk around and rediscover the corners of the memory.

Traumatic memories are often blurred and selective. Relevant details can disappear while irrelevant images stick like glue. One might remember a piece of furniture or what the weather was like that day - but not the name or the face of an important person in the memory.

2011 is about the idea of a memory as a place. A place to visit, where the line between real and unreal is constantly shifting.
